Welcome to Praise Cathedral
Praise Cathedral is Renewal's magnificent purpose built worship centre, seating 1500 in phase 1, with built-in flexibility to be refitted to seat 1500 without further construction in the future.
Why do we need to build Praise Cathedral?
Renewal Christian Centre is based at Lode Lane, Solihull, B91 2JR. The existing on-site facilities are the main auditorium or sanctuary, a conference suite, offices for the full time staff, meeting rooms, a chapel, community buildings and a covered concreted area used at different times for parking or sports.
Renewal holds four main services in the sanctuary, which seats 850 people. Two of these services are full, one is nearing full capacity and one is growing rapidly.
The continuously growing congregation and the many different church programmes during the week have put a strain on the existing facilities. This is a great problem to have, and to solve it Renewal bought land next to the existing site in June 2005, to build Praise Cathedral.
This will free up the existing facilities to continue to grow and expand the programmes that reach out to and support our community and congregation.
